But with even popular shonen manga series that spawn spin-offs, like My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan, there's a clear distinction on what's the *main* story to follow, and the side stories don't distract or change the main storyline.

@neogeopcktcolor SMT NINE's Fem Protag is a pretty underrated one, but I feel like the Devil Survivor 2 Protag just has such a distinct style

There's 3 distinct "story arcs" and all of the characters get their spot episode, which was great... except two from the "main gang" who were really underutilized and dropped like bricks in the last stretch... poor Karma and Momo. Overall, I liked the main cast tho.
