incidentally, I intentionally used one of those short step cycles mentioned on pg 1 in the IRC OP (the mentioned “think walk” case). Vertical movement was indeed kept to a minimum, although maybe even this was too much. There’s a narrow gap between cartoonish and robotic.
It was so great to see a new Gargoyles comic by @Greg_Weisman. Especially being a continuation from the previous comic series (although written with precision that if you missed it, you're caught up). Love @GeorgeKambadais art too. It was Dynamite (pun intended)#GargoylesDynamite
