It does as thematic costume but not in-general as a default costume because individuality & backstory are important factor to consider in character evolution. Chun, Vega, Honda & Bison do work because it's in-character but the some differently, like Ryu, Ken & Guile(3/3)

I don't know much about the story but these paintings of Jacob wrestling an angel is... confusing. In the best scenario it looks like they're dancing, and in the worst well I'm just gonna leave it there. I think the artists tried their best it's not their fault lol.
