Today we done an #Paleotream without Joschua... crazy, isn't... Well, today we done a #Brazil Stream, with such guests as:
- #Ubirajara
- The All Might #Tupandactylus (and a little #Anhaguera demon)
- And an #Australerperton
#FossilFriday #Paleoart #Sciart #Dinosaur #Pterosaur
Thank you to @Allipaca_ , @CiarraChii, @JAEKETS , @OokamiMaeda , & @yumenotsubasa_ for sailing the seas with me last night~ 🌊🌊 All hail Captain Alli for making sure we were on course, Ook for always risking his caeks for the barrels, & the fossil gang pro shark hunters! 💕
Stw 183 is the left side of a young australopith face from Sterkfontein, South Africa. Although it has been likened to the type fossil of Paranthropus robustus (TM1517, green), virtually overlapping the fossils shows it lacks a classic "robust" face #FossilFriday
For #FossilFriday here’s a rather big, and wholly imaginary sauropod from my upcoming Kickstarter, TEPUI. The final(ish) painting and the preceding sketch.
Perhaps some day I'll finish this Ubirajara jubatus, but not for this #FossilFriday
Knight regularly visited the @AMNH. Here, he caught the attention of Dr. Jacob Wortman, who asked him to create an image of Elotherium (now Entelodon). This is the result. #FossilFriday
Scientists find the strongest evidence yet of bird-like egg brooding in a non-avialan dinosaur: a fossil of an oviraptorid sitting on a large clutch of eggs. https://t.co/SFfJGOD23r
For #FossilFriday some news of Master student research. He may have some beaked #whales among the studied specimens 🐬🐬🐬! These strange #Dolphins possess tusks. I am wondering how they looked like during the middle Miocene 🤔Very nice work on the ear, very intriguing animals.
One of the most amazing fossils I have studied is KNM ER 18925, a complete skull and mandible of Theropithecus oswaldi that allowed me to reconstruct the animal's head with unusual confidence. Exepctional specimens like this are a paleoartist's dream! #FossilFriday
Jaw-Dropping Fossil Find Contains a Dinosaur Sitting on an Entire Clutch of Eggs: The ancient scene is unprecedented, and provides the first hard evidence that dinosaurs were brooding parents—Carly Cassella @ScienceAlert https://t.co/bIGWMxjbGS
Fossil squishables designs \o/ I've submitted spino and I'm waiting to hear back on him (hoping that the spines aren't too complicated)
I think diplocaulus will be my next one since I love it so much
Also some bonus dragons since I did a fossil one of those too~ https://t.co/6tXqhVzW9o

@ChongoTweet 's new Iggylocke doesn't have lore yet but I'd like to believe the rival's still the same Fossil and every time they body hop to follow Iggy it fucks up the new host more
@Call_Me_They @matthewmercer Hi, I'm Grace. I was a fossil preparator until the pandemic hit. These days I make 3D models of prehistoric critters, especially fish.
Also tagging @udurawane because she's lovely and makes cool palaeoart.
Marine reptile of the day!
Kronosaurus is a genus of large pliosaurid reptile from the Early Cretaceous. Fossil remains have been found in Australia and Columbia.

We honor the brilliant work of Anna Katherine “Kay” Behrensmeyer, who revolutionized the field of taphonomy (study of how organisms become fossilized) and paleoecology (study of how organisms interact with each other and the environment across time periods). #WHM2021 #WomenInSTEM
@BroomsDoodles Here's what I have randomly saved. Tsume from Naruto, Duna, Fossil Fighters, and Towa, Yashahime.
For #InternationalWomensDay I drew Mary Anning, a paleontologist who discovered marine fossils on the shores of Southwest England that helped changed the scientific thinking about prehistoric life as well as new dinosaur species. #art #drawing #illustration
