It's for today's and rather than sharing a painting of an elephant, we thought we'd share a painting by an elephant. From the , here's a painting by Ellie the elephant titled 'Green, Red and Orange Streaks'.

so here is one of our favourite paintings of elephants from our collections. African elephants by the wonderful Joseph Wolf, dated 1867. The famous 'Jumbo' & 'Alice' were the models for the painting.
