When designing the outfits of the Happy Skies cast, I try to keep true to the character’s style but also add some References to them. FE: Tails’ hoodie is designed after the Tornado 2, Donald’s suit is based off the comics, & Dixie’s dress is her shirt from the DKC TV show

Most enemies from the first were replaced by different enemies that served similar functions in DKC2, but the Zinger was present for both titles. They did for some reason decide to give it a subtly different design in 2 though, which many players might have overlooked.

This is actually untrue for Donkey Kong Country 3! If I recall correctly, in that game, Squitter can kill Krimps (the Klaptrap equivalents in DKC3) and other enemies by jumping on them.

And my last art possibly for the stream and for game clearing as a whole- I started the year off with a Donkey Kong spiritual successor, and it felt right to finish with DKC Returns 3D, since the game had a whole new world of levels to play, hence the Aladdin spoof.
