Never thought that I'd ever see a pro-communism vampire movie, but Paul Morrissey's "Blood for Dracula" is it. What an odd, surreal and uncanny film. A must see from The picked a winner. Film does have the whiniest Dracula in cinema, though.

Making of a feature film. This was one of the first concept look pieces I did for the film. Didn’t end up being the final look but cool to see.

“Eyes are the greatest tool in film. Mr. Capra taught me that. Sure, it's nice to say very good dialogue, if you can get it. But great movie acting - watch the eyes!” ~ Barbara Stanwyck (referencing Frank Capra)

In the Mood for Skate. 🛹 Good luck to all in the auction this evening! ⛩️

Massive thank you to for the edit. Wong Kar-wai is a genius, and In the Mood for Love is an incredible film. ❤️

I got to say, I enjoy this film. I really like this voice of Damian Wayne than the previous one. The voice just fit perfectly with the character. The only issue I have was the raceswap of Jimmy Olsen. I'm just not fan of raceswapping original characters. Overall, it's good.

Shouldn't cels be THE reference? They're the original artwork, I find it hard to believe the paint was mixed with the idea that it would show up differently on film. I think the issue comes from how even the same/similar cels can look wildly different depending on the scanner.

Now at home watching Poltergeist II: The Other Side. I also completely forgot H.R. Giger did designs for this film. But once I saw the “Vomit Monster” scene it all came hurling back to me.

Jurassic World Dominion's Therizinosaurus was such an underappreciated asset to the film. Personally wished it had way more involvement in the movie than the 2 scenes it was in. Definitely deserved more

Didn't prompt for Audrey, but it recognized her as a nun from her 1959 film. Neat.

Something else I wanted to mention was the backgrounds used in the film.

It has such an amazing aesthetic to it with all its vibrant colors and textures that you just couldn’t help but to lay your eyes on them.

Self-portrait caricature in the art style of Studio Ghibli - in this case, from the film, Princess Mononoke. Much respect to Hayao Miyazaki and the talented artists who worked on this film.

Halloween is around the corner and I feel obligated to make a monster for my wee game. So I fed this into the machine and these pretties popped out: "The embodiment of self imposter syndrome as a monster in a Guillermo Del Toro film." Next up, monster mash sculpting time 🧌👻👹

Batman and Superman: Battle of the Super Sons is better than I thought it would be. Someone on production must have read the comics. Great film.
