Went for an approach that could relate to each.
"No Protagonist Jr" came first, a trope about a main character who lost an offspring, but most where written through flashbacks instead of shown on screen, so I prefer to focus on the one which it had more, "visual value".

In DmC: Devil May Cry (, 2013), one of Dante's flashbacks borrows its mise-en-scène from Caravaggio's 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘺𝘳𝘥𝘰𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 (1599-1600).

Before / After
Slightly redrawn the panel from the earlier chapter to add one more flashback
The old version is changed a little, too, because I forgot to save its original =-=(I added a white stripe which I forgot back then)

All might barely arrived in Japan, the first thing he did was hunt down All for One and when he found him, he surely did not give him rest and smashed his head until he was already "dead".
It's just that thinking about it makes me want to see a flashback with that young All Might https://t.co/XFC5gu3Fdb

The stages of Liv (</>) from start to finish. Like all my characters, she's ready for a rework & redesign when I get back to it*.

*Still no improvement yet, but I'm on new meds for the pain.

Flashback to that one time I was thinking of writing a comic based off this idiot and his shennanigans as a demi-deity who protects the world from spiritual threats.

Never took off, but it's nice to revisit his design every now and again🐈‍⬛

Me encanta la idea de usar animación 2D para recrear flashbacks. Además el estilo de dibujo está genial, me entraron ganas de ver la serie así. La iluminación, los escenarios y el diseño de los personajes, se ven increíbles.

I have used both examples. In the first two images Mann getting his hair cut shorter for the first time triggers his grief at losing his mom. In the second example Kevin asks Mann to tell the whole story so then we enter a long flashback sequence.

was thinking about corazon spinning little law from the flashback scene and thought, what if cora spun older/now law.
he could do it, since he was in the marines and would be pretty strong (me thinks anyways :] )
