So I caved and made my own Shovel Knight OC, an 'Axe Knight' for a theoretical Forest themed stage.

Fun fact: When I was 12 and I discovered MistyStuffer’s old Fat Anime and Inflation website. I saw Andrew Dobson’s art on there and funnily enough his infamous Azumanga Daioh comic was on there. So imagine how shocked I was to connect the dots between the same artist did these.
The jp title of 'blooming rose in the other world' is あの世(冥土)に咲く薔薇 (the rose that bloomed in hell). Funnily enough the 1st 2 words are pronounced as meido, which also sounds like maid (メイド). With a pun, RONDO changed maids into an edgy concept involving hell. Amazing
