Question 2: Highlights/Blur tool!

It seems to smudge it a lot when I use the blur tool, and it doesn't look very good :( For highlights, I tried to recreate them, but mine are very messy, and I am unsure how to use the blur tool to blend them!

it allows to mix the colors a little bit,
then I used the blur tool to soften some edges, and lastly I use an overlay layer to accentuate some shades and highlights, normally I use grey-ish purple hues for the shades and very soft kinda grey yellow-orange for highlights ^-^
