Holy shit, looking back at my original RE1 comics adaption from 2011 (it never finished) compared to GAR's RE, it's really gratifying to see how far I've come with the same imagery. I'm still not perfect, but I can't wait to see where I'll be by the time this comic wraps up 🧡

I think espresso also uses the avatar of destiny's eyes (but not deliberately or to his knowledge) due to his eye imagery
if u look closely his cape has an eye with lashes
so mille uses the avatar's tears, espresso uses its eyes

For me, it's a tie between these two.

The Neon one is just such an interesting mix of power and vulnerability. Plus I like a well drawn back.

The Akalynn piece just hits that sweet spot of romantic Angst while using some appropriately surreelal imagery.
