Black Annis is a cave-dwelling, blue-faced hag said to haunt the countryside of Leicestershire. She uses her long iron claws to reach inside windows & snatch children from their beds. Once she eats them, she tans their hides & wears them around her waist.

3/8 In 1891 the station welcomed Buffalo Bill, who brought his Wild West show to Belgrave Road Leicester Cricket & Bicycle grounds for a week. The show travelled into Leicester by 3 trains holding 250 artists with Cowboys, Buck riders and Rifle-men, 200 horses, mules & 22 Buffalo
