was talking with a friend about dragons and realized I hadn't drawn one in a while, so I tried my hand at it and liked how it came out :D I tried to give it a regal vibe, so there's lots of little crown motifs scattered in it's design! Might use this in the future tbh

Valentine motif creature. Inspired by Silent Hill.Ideas come to me when I'm sick or having a hard time, and it's a pleasure to be single-mindedly attached to the depiction. No matter how beautiful a character you usually draw, creatures are the best way to detox your mind.
Having said that...the show actually does this a little...it establishes its own visual motifs that it already seems to be playing with.
Also I love how idyllic show Viltrum looks, still clearly utilitarian but a bit more Krypton and a tad less Brutalist.
So one of the few things I'm sad that won't translate to the show is some of the visual motifs the comic establishes, these become more pronounced as the series goes on and some are played for comedic effect but man, I am a sucker for a good visual reference.
