From what i saw from his posts the approach is pretty simple: apply solid colors that fits the scene/characters, keeping these colors close to the lineart outlines. You can see this as something close to oldschool comics coloring approach but also reminds Miura's watercolors

I deadass have no fucking idea tbh

I just look at references and let my hand do the work. One thing I like to do though, which I didn’t do on my most recent drawing btw, is make the outlines a darker color of the solid color of an area. The outline is red instead of black https://t.co/ZQrxY621xs

is a thing that allways bring me back over time, but since i come from anime/stilized and realism way, is hard to me atm, anyways it only means i have a long way to improve, what is nice tho. I´d like that you can play with shapes, shading, outlines and color palettes.

For my previous 20 slimes I have noticed if you zoom out there WILL be a white line around the mouth.

To fix this go into vtube studio, click the tab in your options menu and click the button '' fix white outlines''
