Here’s why I don’t think AI art is… quite there yet. These programs don’t seem to have a good sense of anatomy as they’re mixing bits and pieces without understanding the actual structure of the body underneath.

Tested out Rebelle, so far I like this program! the blending in it works very very well, it keeps it vibrantness unlike other programs that kinda just wash out when you blend the colors. (also the watercolor looks really cool)

Very true. this has been made easier with apps and painting programs that let you directly do this such as Clip studio paint which has a built in 3D workspace with pre-existing models meant to be traced/referenced. When stuff like this exists, there's zero excuses for tracing art

I was messing with corel painter earlier. Still really new to the program so I'm not as used to the brushes still. I got Painter through Humble Bundle, it was on sale for I think $31? Very affordable, and I kind of want to try out new programs too like Blender and stuff to grow
