Yas, this portrait. It helped me learn many things, like shading cloth, transparency, and a softer style. But something that really stuck was that it taught me that simplifying is something I REALLY need to practice more since I did over-detail this painting at some point 🫢

With the Anime simplifying the Sakura uniform's skirt to a singular colour, it makes it easier to animate
But when it comes to the ED once the short animation is done, it can be reused constantly without having to reanimate it.
So to me it makes sense they brought the tartan back
