Its the back and tail spikes. They are basically a realistic interpertaion of Anguirus. If it had a head crown of spikes and a nose horn youd say its more similar. Only thing its missing is the fangs and narrower head.

When it reached a point regarding Mio I called the story on it's BS and even predicted what would happen since the game is so cliche. IT BLEW MY PREDICTION OUT OF THE PLANET and that's when my opinion on the game changed. It got better. Taion is my least favorite. CLICHE! BORING!
