Inspiration for Ｐｌａｓｔｉｃ　Ｌｏｖｅ comes from my love of early Japanese anime and the song Plastic Love by Mariya Takeuchi. I wanted to create something that would capture the feeling of the song, as well as the colors and aesthetic of early anime.
