Been reading this - Bitmap Books’ gigantic Metal Slug art book, actually the first such book dedicated to the series... and in English! Lots and lots of screengrabs, but a fair amount of production art, and a good 60 or so pages of interviews.

Storyboard Pro 6 Question: Does ANYONE know what to do about textured vector brushes not filling to the line? I can't even touch the paint tool settings when in vector but then when i'm in bitmap layers I get all the settings?
