Forget if I mentioned this here but over the past little while life been trying to write down my family's variant of the Pecos Bill story which is less like a folktale and more like a folk epic with me being almost done with writing down the first arc at the current moment

In Flemish folktales werewolves hide their skin in trees. When someone steals their skin and burns it the wolf dies or disappears. It's also said that you can recognise werewolves if you cut them with a knife that has cut through bread or earth first.
