(1/2) Had a good bit of fun drawing this, might've taken me around 40-50 minutes? wasn't keeping track. 100% a perspective experiment, haven't really done much foreshortening before.

This one! From foreshortening to perspective, it was rather technically hard to do. https://t.co/IMw2jRFigG

I think he is one of, if not the strongest artist in the anime industry at foreshortening the far side of faces, and just faces in general. His level of mastery is almost uncomfortable

I wanted to try some foreshortening practice and had some fun.

Thanks, man! All I can really see now is the wonky foreshortening and stiffness, but the sequence that precedes that bit probably has the best art out of the whole comic.

To put your blood, sweat, and tears into your art
I tried foreshortening but I don’t think it worked out well:,)) I still kind of like it though. Sorry for the blood:((

My favorite artists tend to have a slowly evolving, distinct art style, yet can do a wide range of themes. I think trying different themes or concepts is worth it. As for suggestions, I think color palettes (limited or dark), focused lighting, or poses with much foreshortening.
