Lauki are meeting on the bridge! We are loving this development and the healthy communication between Lauren and Kieran. In an episode full of 43 parallels, it’s beautiful to end it with the reveal that Lauren knew all along.
We get a glimpse of Neyra’s parents for the first time, but unfortunately we’re seeing them because Neyra appears to have been murdered. It seems killing Neyra was the orders Kieran received at the end of the last episode!
My last art I’ll be posting this year! Ending things off with my OC Kieran! He is finally smiling at the butterfly! (He still finds them annoying though 😅)

What can possibly be more precious if these panels of Lauren and Kieran admiring each other’s happiness exist???
One thing I find hot about Lauki as well is there skin complexion difference. Lauren being pale as snow and Kieran being tanned skin.
As handsome as Kieran looks here, it hurts to see him looking so grim and dark in contrast to the light, happy panels of him that we just saw. Those hands have done so much but he no longer sees the blood on them… Does this mean he won’t kill anymore?
Lauren’s eyes look particularly pensive as she lies awake. Is she thinking about Kieran, perhaps, and how happy he looked?
Once more, we get some great panels of Kieran laughing with both Will and Kym, and Lauren sees it, too. Kieran DOES look happy, and he deserves every ounce of it. And the way Lauren looks at him? Girl is catching feelings, you can’t convince us otherwise
Can we just appreciate Kieran’s smirk as he teases Lauren about said accidental arson? This is such a great episode for Kieran smirks. We love that smirk so much
Gotta love how despite all Kieran and Lauren have been through together, he’s still surprised enough to almost choke on the cake when Lauren kind of accidentally almost confesses to arson
Not only do we get Lauren eating, we get Lauren SHARING HER CAKE WITH KIERAN. Not just that, but sharing the FORK. Lauki are really out here acting like a married couple and we love to see it.
We get a flashback to Lauren’s disastrous date with Mr. Evans and a great new panel of Kieran that we haven’t seen before. That smirk! The man liked what he saw from the moment he first laid eyes on her.
LAUREN AND KIERAN ARE ON A DATE, THIS IS NOT A DRILL. It’s the same cafe where he first saw her in episode 1 and Kieran’s teasing Lauren about how he’s actively protecting her by bringing her out on the date
