Something that helped me out of it was to shift my focus towards learning. I put a lot more effort into learning my tools inside and out. Went overboard on filters lol. I tried diff inks, colors, shading, etc. My style and vibe was all over, but I like a lot of this still. (2013)

It's certainly a cool design on it's own, but I think is goes a bit overboard. Plus a major facet of his character is that behind the mask, he's a scrawny little dweeb that uses fear to manipulate and torment people. We never see it, but is that the case with S4 Scarecrow?
