Here’s the cover for Barkface issue 2. I ended up going with some mixed media action here with a hand-drawn charcoal drawing under some overlayed digital art more consistent with the look of interiors. I’m aiming to have the file to the printer in the next day or 2😊

Yeah graphics tablets are awesome as hell, god I love my copics but the materials I love and use the most are fucking bic pens and printer paper/cheap sketchbooks. I used to take shitty photos of my crayola art and then use a mouse in gimp and paint

Here's more cause it was honestly kind of a flex. I used to email these to my dads work so he could print them out with the color printer there. I have one I did of my whole family in that exact anime art style as the one above this and my mom still has it framed in her room

I got into art when i was a kid, and i made shoeboxes full of paper dolls to play with, decorated the shoeboxes like little houses too. They were printer paper and those scented markers and they were my favorite toy of choice for years haha
