It's a deep lore cut from the Sonic CD manual! for years it was basically forgotten about, except amongst hardcore Sonic Lore Nerds™ such as myself, but lately it's been getting referenced quite a lot in places like the IDW comics and the Sonic Origins cutscenes.

Another thing that got cut from Issues 1 - 3, Tom having more combat scenes. I wish I kept those or did a better job at implementing them in script. I feel I've kept Tom's on-panel body count too low.

Sounds dark? Maybe but I do label it as an ACTION/comedy.
