I have some speculation about the upcoming classes in FFXIV. We got two interesting setups in 5.3. First is that a Necromancer can be a WoL and second, the little miqo girl introduced the concept of healing with potions.

Pierre Dupont probably had one of the most advanced AI setups. Instead of dying, once his health reached a certain amount it would change from attack to finding cover, and then be able to actively despawn itself once it was out of sight either behind cover or out of camera view.
