When I first started painting I was kind of precise about things, trying to get perfect edges & smooth paint. Then one day it dawned on me: the paintings I admired most all had a messy element, whether that was splatters, drips, texture or obvious strokes.

i'm really happy that i tried out the sploosh o matic on a whim b/c it's quickly become my favourite + best weapon... i've played around with the n-zap and the splattershots but the sploosh o matic is still first in my heart, haha. so here's my squid boy and his best gun.

The very first weapon that I "mained" in Splatoon 2 and the last in the daily draw series.
Thank you to everyone who kept up with or liked even just a single one of these drawings. I had fun, despite some burnout, and hope to do more in the future! 😄

Day 49: Splattershot.

The bog-standard version of a shooter in Splatoon 2. With decent range, damage, fire-rate, mobility and sub/special kits it is essentially a Jack-of-all-trades and a good fit for any team with and empty slot.
