it's one thing to be a real life person who gets a tan. it's a completely different thing when it's a completely manufactured character and you have a team of designers that may end up preferring some other look for A Reason . it's subtle, but pervasive, so i am Wary

@GS77695214 Well, if you're mainly referring to Spider-Man, the best way to go about it would probably be to begin with the Ultimate Comics (which provide a more modern take on the character) and then go back to the classics to see where it all started. Here are the main comics I recommend:
