I sometimes ask myself why I have to post some art for a few times.. then I realize it's because twitter layouts are weird. So here it is again. A color study w/o blending (I think XD)
When u try to study how color works without blending. What I did looks good when you see it from afar XD (just don't zoom into the details huehue). I better practice more. Maybe I could read more medical, engineering and architecture books later to get myself motivated.
I tried a few different blending methods out today, so here's another speedpaint ✨
progress shots
idea -> colouring -> minimal blending -> finished (also slightly improved)
Played around with fluid-like shapes, blending modes and effects on @Procreate 💛

I really like how this turned out, though I’d love any tips on blending and lighting. Not sure what to name her, but I sense she’s a wanderer. 🌿🔖

@Commander_Keith Which I never exactly was all too fond of considering he had a weird pallete, which was apparently done because they couldn't use the blue from the NES pallet whenever he goes underwater without blending in.
The original drawings converted to sprites had a proper red/blue color
if anyone know the great way to Greyscale to color. you can tell me now guys. right now I'm still doing(messing) up with many blending color 😐
I did some blending and touch up.I hope it looks somewhat better now ❤

dappled fox doodle! Actually this was great practice for layer masks and blending!
An older artwork.
This is the first artwork I created with Copics after my 10yr hiatus from them. As you can see, I went a bit nuts with the blending 😂😂

Making good progress on my smooch YCH 😇😇😇 flat shading done, lots of blending on my queue for tonight.
@iimacodidae U MEAN SHADING W ONE COLOR ONLY... ig u can take these as examples esp w how i do clothes... u can see i dont really explore any more colors in shades i literally just use one shade color thats a diff hue from the flat color then work from there w blending/blurring/airbrushing
EUREKA! I did it! 🎉 I finally recreated my favorite SAI brush in CSP. I won't share the settings yet but it's basically a tool for blending and "erasing" at the same time. Wild concept but very useful for cleaning my messy sketches.
