I mean as I said he used it mainly in Invaders to carry the team around, Namor himself can fly where ever he wants to and Namor's flagship aircraft has been around in modern comics, it's just not as used as it was in the past. Namor even taught Bucky how to fly.

but all the stress of hiding manifested itself in a Flight response, which i think chapter one already did a FanTastic job of capturing imo. we’ve seen him working too hard, stressing himself out, and getting lost in his own thoughts. he never really gives himself a break.

which is not to say they were a dysfunctional family! there was always endless love. his brothers even beat his bullies up for him. Stephen just got v good at hiding parts of himself so no one would hurt him (or have any reason to defend him)
