I think people use heavy scarring as a design crutch bc they don't want to draw a twisted leg. bit of a cop-out imo, it's honestly as easy as drawing at a 90 degree angle (example from my aniproject)

the leg i give her in my own designs definitely isn't accurate to either canon or reality but ive always given her scarring under the assumption that there's scar tissue and growing into preference for the design even if it's. not really canon accurare yknow
