Trying out new methods and processes. It looks like a style I used to paint in that I haven't been able to replicate in a few years, so I like it~

I will try to be a little more social on twitter and share random stuff that Im working on. Currently doing some trial and error for a brush that would replicate these type of tails for a commission. 5th attempt but almost there!

And here's the original mockup/concept art for the scene (unfinished drawing since it was done during the jam). I'm quite happy how close I was able to replicate the look. The final look has a pixel art vibe to it with dynamic shading and animated vegetation.
