It's not so much that he sucks than that every adaptation shafts him. He admittedly doesn't have much of a character compared to the others but still
So he's either background decoration, or he sucks
i think the Xi Xing Ji version (down) is the only one that's actually good ahah

I think I can point to the LoZ series, Specifically Phantom Hourglass and Minish Cap (Especially Akira Himekawa’s adaptation of it). Id try to copy the styles of these as a kid and it was the first thing that got me to draw people.

Yumekui Merry, and for good reasons.

1. Anime adaptation got JC Shaft'd, author of the manga became reluctant to have his works be adapted again in the future.
2. The ending still makes me cry, can't spoil it here ofc.

she's going to look absolutely amazing & terrifying! So happy they're going back to the novel with this adaptation. The Hellraiser franchise has been treated the absolute worst out of any franchise in my view so I'm really glad they're finally giving it the cred it deserves 😍
