I know I just did a self portrait but I was assigned to do a quick one for school last week as an in class assignment and it was even more fun than the last one! I was really loose and did it 90% traditionally. and i love how it came out!

Additionally, a firework show was prepared to ring in the new year. The fireworks were launched behind the Ski Hill nearby Herbert's cave.

Not only was the show loud; it was extraditionally long. It lasted a full 72 hours, taking place from December 31 - January 2.

The Bollenhut has come to be a symbol of the Black Forest but it is traditionally worn in only 3 communities:  Gutach, Kirnbach and Reichenbach. Red pompoms are worn by single women, black ones by married women. On their wedding day, they wear a colorful and beautiful crown.

ok i think im going to try out a watercolour effect for this piece :0 i've dabbled in actual watercolour in the past but it's tbh a lot of work to get out the paint and set everything up LOL... maybe trying it digitally will motivate me to try traditionally again
