I use this kind of square-ish brush and I sometimes use lasso at the end when I want it to look neat, so I cut out all the edges that are sticking around it, especially around the face. I don't know how to explain, so for example, I didn't do it here:

Here’s the time lapse! On the 3rd day, we were supposed to clean up the drawing and blend the hard edges, but I decided to keep the sketchy lines and not blend at all. Lately I’ve learned about the purpose of story art for film and animation, so I embraced the sketch w color ✏️
