I remember when I showed people my improvement with the Rarity drawing and someone told me that my shading got "worse" and it kinda hurt... they told me that the shading I did in the new version doesn't fit the artstyle I'm going for. So I kinda... reduced it in newer works...

Kind of a rough transition to digital. My traditional art was reliant on shading and detailed eyes. But i wanted to have a toony art style like cuphead and bendy, and threw everything about my old style out the window. It was… not an improvement

trying to be better with backgrounds . really terrible at it rn.. i've pretty much perfected my overall art style which continues to improve on its own. just need to practice backgrounds and.. everything else ugh
