5 May 1917, Eugene Bullard (1895-1961) gained pilot's licence. Became 1st African-American military pilot (French Air Service). 1913, went to France. Worked as musician & boxer. On outbreak of #WW1 enlisted in Foreign Legion. Post-war experience of USA led him to settle in Paris.
I explored some visual ideas that ultimately led to me blending the Lotus, an iconic piece of magic imagery with the celtic knot, an ancient and intrinsic part of ancient irish art!
my favorite oc *design* is easily Wynona's. Essentially with her I thought "ok what if Robert Plant from Led Zeppelin was a hot demon babe" and thats how she came to be...shes a veteran of the underworld and became disillusioned with her career in music. shes a recluse now
