Here's a little thing for a bigger picture. I'm experimenting with drawing noses. Not sure if I'll keep it.
I've been super inspired by @Nameless_wolf25 's bnha Inktober posts and lovely marker work; but I didn't know just how MUCH until I realized bits and pieces in my chibis! 😱The hands and noses particularly.
-Boring expressions.
-Lego hair.
-Gaping hole noses.
-Obnoxious highlights.
-Rigid and animation-unfriendly character designs.
-Inconsistent storyboarding.
-Responsible for the most underwhelming direction in a DB movie.
Yet, someone thinks we're still in the '90s. WAKE UP.

Day 4 of #inktober2018 with my bean boy Mitas! The "skin" on his face is very malleable and he can make eyes, noses and mouthes pop on it wherever he wants! A blank state such as this is the easiest to maintain for him.

Miyahara pops up shortly after this scene. He has a pretty different style compared to Nakatsuru and Sato, but I really like it. Those big noses quickly become a defining trait.

Just to make sure I understood you correctly (english is not my first lamguage): you think I should make the nose smaller? I purposely made their noses longer as a style choice. Would love to hear your thoughts on these other angles!
