.'s and 's podcast on Sailor Moon today reminded me of the fact that Junichi Sato and Kunihiko Ikuhara worked on the anime Maple Town and its sequel, Palm Town. Two anime that I felt really helped them develop the well-known aesthetic for Sailor Moon.

Day 862: Sui-no-Sato Tower! Tonight's result was more of a study in construction than color. I kept it simple, but played around with mirroring and careful lines. Honestly I kinda liked how it turned out! It was simple but once again kinda captured what I was hoping for with it!
