One more about the bats and characters from the Masterclass' script!

This one shows a size comparison between Yam, Uther, the baby bat and the giant bats.
I also did a few sketches of expressions exploration!

There's a movie/book, called Stella Luna I believe- it's about bats, and it's what nurtured my love for the little flying foxes.

But all the event is related to this talking anthropomorphic bat called Billy Bat. This bat exist in all timelines and always cause chaos to humanity. There are two bats: The White bat always say confusing things and The Black bat manipulated people to do evil things.

A Dark Crystal Boy & A Pink Fairy Girl live in a world of dreams, so nobody bats an eye when they fuse to become a Winged Goddess

But Balan is the one that needs a logical story connection....riiiight

I redesigned my old Vanishing World Fani! I wanted to make him more otherworldly i guess? Asides from Bats and Dragons his design is also based off of Rabbits, Deer and Odd Ragdolls!

I cant be the only one to have noticed the abundance of Phallic imagery in FLCL. Lots of the phallus as a source of confidence and as a sexual symbol. Not to mention the phallus on Naotas head in episode 1, phallic baseball bats, ninamori eating ice cream, gun length jokes etc
