O que quero dizer é que Dragon Ball Super não é exatamente uma vertente necessária.
Não me parece como "a continuação do lendário Dragon Ball", pois não nos traz o que fazia de DB, DB: As inovações e o imenso impacto disso nos demais.
Basicamente, tudo em que DB foi pioneiro ou ajudou a popularizar, as novas gerações já pegaram e evoluíram ao seu modo, de forma que DBS, como uma produção de 20 anos após o mangá original, não conseguiu agregar nada a isso.
Assim como na obra original, a "passagem de bastão" já havia ocorrido! Diversos outros mangás, contemporâneos ou posteriores a DB , já haviam bebido da fonte da obra e estavam impactando o mundo e influenciando ainda mais novas gerações.
Dragon Ball, mesmo tendo quase 40 anos, segue firme como uma das produções japonesas mais rentáveis e populares DO MUNDO. É até difícil imaginar uma produção japonesa mais popular que DB ao redor do globo.
Talvez, no máximo, Pokémon, e olhe lá.
E isso faz com que não apenas tenhamos novas animações, sejam semanais ou em filmes, mas que haja sempre maior investimento em jogos de videogame, celular, cards, brinquedos em geral e por aí vai.
DB está mais vivo do que nunca neste sentido!
