i'm forcing myself to get better at likenesses so i can do commissions efficiently

one thing that gets me is faces. "that doesn't look like them, let me start over" x 10 before i settle. i don't want to settle anymore.

they're your trainers, they're going to look like you.

Art study from Pinterest. Wanted to study some more squished faces. (From: https://t.co/L5Vx9ZFqdv)

Ugh it really is difficult to draw real people as a drawing...

It's especially harder for me since I don't really remember faces?
Is it weird? It's just me, maybe, somehow I can't seem to remember faces.
Like, if you ask me, I'll even fail to describe how my brother "looks" idk

I try to remember how to draw human faces. So hard T__T So my plan: studies and sketches from my memory.

Decided to combine Pink Pearl and Painted Doll since they both have cracked faces.

Yeah, I had one too ca. 1998-1999. His name was George. Not terribly catchy. Also included some familiar faces.

Nothing makes me want to shoot myself quite like trying to photograph extremely small reflective surfaces.

So I created an account on the Japanese DLsite not only for all the content not available on the English version, but also so I would have lots of inspiration for drawing various faces. 😍

So I did portraits of my OCs for a bit, this time with actual reference pictures, to practice drawing faces. I stopped after a while because it was really draining, especially weeknights when f.lux is in the way.

This first one I like way better than all the others.

It’s the faces. I look in the mirror and see a mask, and it keeps popping in on my art. I love your sketch, and all your art honestly. This is from Frans week and the only one I’m happy with

I'm Ki and I like drawing people faces. I also illustrate flyers and album covers! The portfolio is currently in progress but here is some of my work!
