This is one of those assignments that's like, oh biscuits, it's gonna be a muddy mess so fast. But if you have good reference, you can play with what's logical.

Because if you make that elf too seen, it'll be confused as a creature card. That's what an art director looks for.

Ey thanks man! I feel like I've improved my ability to simplify and stylistically render from reference, and I'm especially proud of my landscape studies!
