The Knockers or Tommyknockers, (aka Cousin Jacks) are underground spirits of the mines. Referring to the knocking on the walls before cave-ins. 2ft tall creatures, warning the miners of impending danger. But also known to steal unattended tools or left out food.

I call it a OCEAN BAT, from unamed alien planet.
Imaging a sea lion, but it was half octopus, half bat!
They are small creatures, harmless and travel in packs. Mostly found around beaches. Fast in air and sea but not land
