1 part grenadine
1 part creme de menthe
Pour into a glass carefully so the creme de menthe layers over the grenadine without mixing. Garnish with a tiny non sentient slice of watermelon.

I just read the third issue of GIGA, which was great. This book remains unlike anything currently on shelves (that I know of, at least), marvelously mixing religious awe with post-apocalyptic dread. A compelling, driven story, utterly gorgeous to look at.

My objectives for this drawing was trying to do shading when the light comes from straight above, mixing hard and soft shadows, as well as experimenting with "damage" effects.

Overall I think it came out pretty well.

Teal is admittingly a lovely color, iirc it is a combo color of blue and green (well, back to color mixing days and using black and white to set up monochrome values for teal). I like it with a shade of purple in a color palette pick. And, it's also why I am drawn to this SO art.
