Second barnowl done. The background did not work out as I planned on this one, so I had to change it. I like both backgrounds, but I prefered to paint the previous one on the cold pressed paper. (The ’brown’ owl is on hot pressed paper, and the ’purple’ is on cold pressed paper.)
I drew kirin, I originally planned to draw a background for it, but then I remembered how the 8 years of sketches and pictures under my belt- none of which were backgrounds, or any terrain xD

The SaGa series is exactly that. A bunch of characters that are distinct, with their own backgrounds, who are not just sold on the basis of their physical appearance. Kobayashi's designs complements who they are while still being attractive. She deserves to be seen 😔
