Based on the content shown it's evident they're adapting from the light novels. Manga unfortunately while still an amazing visual representation of the story has jump cuts that are not as easy to derive enjoyment from.

I've seen a lot of new (fetish) artists popping up and a consistent "problem" I've been seeing is using thick lines when drawing (especially at low resolutions)
This makes a picture look cluttered and I urge (you) to find a way to have your lines look kinda like the left image.
