also mario has sort of become a business tycoon at this point, managing his own amusement park, he has a castle, his own private island, hosts parties, go-kart races. pretty much him coming into wealth and succeeding which is a good reason to bring in wario.

bc bare in mind mario and luigi’s last name is “mario” so his father could’ve gone by his surname

perhaps donkey kong is slightly older than mario and luigi and is near enough the same age as bowser. or dk arcade could take place during the bros’ childhood in new york.

also donkey kong and donkey kong jr MIGHT be the same person. we MIGHT see a flashback where donkey kong was a child and witnessed his father cranky go up against mario

they could do it so bowser is the villain of the first film, then its wart AND bowser in the second, then tatanga AND bowser or wario, waluigi AND bowser in the third.

and they’d all have their own armies for mario to go up against
