While looking for drawing references I reread this specific chapter and I was reminded of this panel of Horus and gosh, he's CRYING.. he's so desperately trying to prevent Seth from accepting the cursed "weapon" that he was even willing to use Seth's weakness against him, Anubis.

I often wonder.
If Seth had died and gone to Duat in the past, there would have been a price to pay to bring him back to life.
The price would have been for Osiris to die and go to Duat instead. And that too, in the form of being killed by Seth.

I adore that Seth noticed Horus' headpiece, zeroed in on it being a bird, and immediately insulted Horus by calling him a pigeon. Then while trying to shoot down Horus, joked about "hunting falcons"... Why's he so mean to birds for? Leave them out of your dad-insults!!! (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞

I feel like Seth's interactions with animals show a much more amiable and passive side of him. Like even if he wasn't always nice to Horus' bird (and flung it around a lot😭) him letting it perch on him was very sweet! (≚ᄌ≚)
