A little commissions WIP update. I'm really liking this new coloring workflow for me so far.

I do lasso tool for blocking out colors, then a realistic water color brush for large shadows, then I go back over it with a pencil tool for details.

An update. The eyes were bothering me so I couldn't sleep until I fix them. @ So there, the eyes look better. I also decided to work with the shading a bit more, so I added light. This commission is looking good now.
